MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® is a traceable product label for all types of textiles and leather articles that have been produced in environmentally friendly facilities and in safe and socially responsible workplaces. In addition, the MADE IN GREEN label gives consumers the assurance that the textile or leather product is made from materials that have been tested for harmful substances.
OEKO-TEX® consist of 18 independent research and test institutes in Europe and Japan. They are responsible for the joint development of test methods and limit values which form the basis for the certifications.
The supply chain of a MADE IN GREEN labelled article can be transparently traced using a unique product ID or QR code on the OEKO-TEX® Label Check. There, information is displayed about the production facilities in which the textile or leather article was produced, the production stage to which the production facilities involved belong and the countries in which the production took place.
