Fairtrade® Cotton

Fairtrade International is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization that promotes sustainable development and poverty alleviation and sets the Fairtrade standards. The Fairtrade Fibre Crops label indicates that the cotton is sourced from small-scale farms that fulfil the environmental, economic and social requirements of the Fairtrade standard. The standard mainly focuses on fair trade conditions and the payment of a Fairtrade premium that is used to implement local development projects.
