EU Ecolabel - Laundry Detergents

The European Commission, manages the EU Ecolabel scheme at the EU level to ensure that the EU Ecolabel Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 is implemented correctly. The EU Ecolabel is the European Union’s official label for environmental excellence, awarded to products that have a reduced environmental impact across multiple stages of the product lifecycle. It is a voluntary, ISO 14024- type 1- label, third party verified. EU Ecolabel certified products meet high standards that reduce their environmental impact across multiple stages of the product lifecycle, from raw material extraction, to production, use and disposal. The EU Ecolabel is awarded to best-in-class products that are sustainably designed, encourage innovation, and contribute to the EU goal of climate neutrality by 2050 and to the circular economy. The latest available versions of EU Ecolabel criteria for detergents are still under assessment.
