Fair Wear

Standard organisation: The standard organisation is the Dutch Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), which is supported by trade unions, non-governmental organisations and trade and manufacturers' organisations. Members are about 80 textile companies representing approximately 120 brands. FWF is active in 15 production countries within Europe, Africa and Asia. Aim/ Focus: The aim is to improve working conditions in companies in the textile industry worldwide. The focus is on companies where garments are sewn. Good to know... Member companies that score well in the audit are allowed to use the FWF label on their products.
