The EU organic label identifies products from controlled organic cultivation (kbA). The aim is to promote organic agriculture through clearly defined legal regulations. The regulations of the EU Organic Regulation do not include separate social legislation.
The European Union is the owner of the EU organic label. In Germany, the label is awarded to farms by state-approved assurance providers.
