The label identifies wood products that contain wood from sustainable forestry and that have been produced in a particularly climate-friendly manner through short distances from the forest to the customer. By buying wood products labelled in this way, consumers can make an important contribution to climate protection.
Holz von Hier is a non-profit initiative. It consists of advisory boards, expert panels, a broad partner and company network and a decision-making body.
Specific products are always certified, not the company itself. Proof of the product is always a product-related certificate issued for the customer. The customers can check the authenticity themselves online at www.holz-von-hier.eu.
